Trim Levels
The 2020 Ram 1500 has eight trim levels with up to 30 configurations. When shopping for this truck, you might have to try a few on to find the right fit. The trim levels include the Tradesman, HFE, Big Horn/Lone Star, Laramie, Big Horn, Rebel, Longhorn, and Limited. You can configure many of these trims as a quad cab or crew cab, two-wheel-drive or four-wheel-drive, and with a 67- or 76-inch bed.

The 2020 Ram 1500 has three engines to choose from. First is the 3.6-liter Pentastar V-6 with eTorque that produces 305 horsepower and 269 pounds-feet of torque. Second is the 5.7-liter Hemi V-8 that churns out a whopping 395 horsepower and 410 pounds-feet of torque. The third is the 5.7-liter Hemi V-8 with eTorque that also produces 395 horsepower and 410 pounds-feet of torque. Depending on your workload, you can choose the engine best-suited to get the job done. All engines pair with the TorqueFlite eight-speed automatic transmission.
Performance
You can configure the 2020 Ram 1500 to perform to your expectations. The Ram 1500 has a four-wheel-drive option across all trim levels, significantly improved fuel mileage from previous generations, and unrivaled towing/hauling capabilities. Front and rear coil spring suspension is standard on all models and provides up to 12,570 pounds of towing capacity and up to 2,300 pounds of payload capability. An available adjustable air suspension is optional for every model, as well.
Interior
The 2020 Ram 1500 reminds us what a true luxury truck should be. Front seating options include two bucket seats with a large center console or a bench seat for three. The crew-cab Ram has rear seats that slide with adjustable backrests.
Other interior options include USB-C and USB ports, a 12.0-inch touch screen, a 7-inch driver information digital cluster display, wood and metal trim, leather, a Harman Kardon premium sound system, and hidden storage. Safety
Ram places the utmost importance on safety. The 2020 Ram 1500 has standard safety features such as six air bags, stability control, a rearview camera, and anti-lock brakes.
